Location

Located right in the city center, in a quiet street next to the Municipal House and the Powder Tower at the entrance to the Old Town. The house was built in the 18th century - and according to the records of the city of Prague there used to be a maternity house during the reign of the empress Marie Terezie/1738 - 1789/. The area around the Republic Square with the Municipal House is the historical heart of Prague with access to many interesting historic sight, stores, galleries and restaurants within steps of there. It is superbly located just next to the Powder Tower, medieval gate of entry to Prague, where remarkable King’s Road starts. This road leads directly to the Prague castle and in medieval times it was the only road served for King’s retinue. On the Republic Square starts the main pedestrian area, leading to the Old Town Square and the Wenceslas Square. The location is ideal for easy walking access to the city's daytime tourist sights as well as its night time attractions and shopping.

At the reception desk You may buy beverages, tickets for urban transportation, post cards, maps. No curfew. Common room with a TV-set and music. 10 metres from the hostel there is a Czech restaurant open from 8:30 till 23:00 with ready-made dishes (prices from 60,- CZK).
