Location

Situated in the one of the greenest parts of Prague - on top of Petrin Hill with amazing view of all Prague, especially if you visit Petrin lookout tower (Petrinska rozhledna). From Hostel Strahov is very good connection to the town center of Prague by bus, which goes each 10 min from the hostel to the underground stop "Dejvicka" or "Karlovo namesti". You can also use a funicular with nice view of Lesser Town (Mala Strana) or walk to Prague Castle (less than 15 min). Strahov hostel is located at the most famous place for youth accommodation in Prague - Strahov student centre with good background for spending free time. Place for footbal, voleyball, basketball, tenis, squash, disco, swimming pool, gym, students bar, food shop etc. It is also near the biggest sport stadium, where big music stars have their concert (Rolling Stones, Aerosmith, etc.) there are happenig some exhibitions during the year too. Quite and safe area.
